Often times, summaries of ideas developed in a book or a series of lectures will help the learner understand the material. Readily understanding material is essential to learning and remembering. As passive learners, we remember only 10% of what we read, 20% of what we hear, and 30% of what we see. When you teach someone else, you retain 70 % of what you teach. When you tell and show someone you retain 90% of what you say and do!

As STAR-PM, we considered these facts, and developed our PMP study materials in an appropriate fashion. Our study materials are explained with;

r    No confusing words,

r    No long paragraphs,

r    Tables,

r    Figures,

r    Simple, easy to understand language

r    Examples

r    Memory triggers

r    Practice exercises

The STAR-PM has developed study material which will help you remember the required material easily. At the beginning, you may find this approach different from what you are used to. You used to read tons of unnecessary information, you used to read thousand of pages. Once you get used to this approach, you will love it.

For improving your memory techniques, we would highly recommend Mike Teitelbaum’s book “Master Your Memory”.
